WAYS TO PREVENT AND SAVE THE EARTH FROM GLOBAL WARMING

The biggest issue emulating around the world today is Global Warming. Though this issue was stated in the past, many became aware of this phenomenon when it became serious to gain much needed attention. People before where ignoring the phenomenon known as Global Warming, but now this phenomenon is getting worse each day as people abused the Earth.

If you can see the pictures above, it is my vision of a better and a fallen Earth. The good pictures shows the serenity and beauty if we prevented global warming and other abuses we cause to the earth. The other picture shows the abuse of the earth, where the glowing sun represents the global warming and the trashes found in the picture shows man's pollution. These pictures says a lot about the result if we act or don't act now on global warming.

There are many ways in which you can prevent global warming and save the earth some of these ways are so simple yet they can make a big difference.

For me I can save the earth by following these methods of saving the earth.
Some of these methods include:
>Turning off appliances and lights if they are not needed
> recycling some trashes like bottles and aluminum cans
> not burning trashes as they can contribute to creating more "greenhouse gases"
>Reducing the amount of garbage thrown and start reusing things that are still usable

With these methods one can prevent and possibly stop Global Warming. Sometimes you have to do simple things to get great results.

An Evaluation of the Corporate Identity of Microsoft Windows

Microsoft Windows is one of the most leading software companies in the world. The software company dominates the personal computer market, overtaking its competitors like Macintosh. You can find their software in almost every computer. In internet cafes' , offices or even in your friends house, there is a big chance that you will see that the operating system of their computers is Microsoft Windows.

One interesting thing about the company is their logo. It does resemble a window but with different colors on each glass. Colors show some meaning in life so there might be a reason why Microsoft Windows chose such colors for their logo.

In the upper left side of the Windows logo the color of the window glass is orange. The color orange is the combination of red and yellow which means strong emotions from conflicting feelings to warfare or competition but a little calmer than the two. As stated in about.com the color orange signifies attention and with the shared traits of the color red, power. It describes Microsoft corporation as one of the dominating software companies today and that they also seek attention for consumers to buy their products.

In the lower left of the logo we see the color blue. This color signifies calmness and ease. It also symbolizes steadfastness and being a friendly color . As stated in about.com, blue is stated as color of importance without being sinister or somber in the business world. Sometimes, this color shows superiority. In the Windows logo this color signifies their importance and their superiority in the software world. Also this may symbolize the user-friendly softwares they develop.


In the upper right side of the logo we see the color green. This color symbolizes growth and renewal. It also symbolizes balance and harmony. For Windows this color may signify the development of their company and their software. The demand for better technology makes the company improve their products to ensure a good stand in the business world thus the growth of the company and its products.

In the lower right we see the color yellow. The meaning of the color is the sames as that of red which symbolizes conflict. Though it shares some meaning with the color red , it also has the meaning of hope and in some cultures peace and courage. But the color yellow is mainly used to combine other colors to produce good results. as for the meaning in the logo, this color may signify the company's combination and partnership with its clients and other computer companies to produce better products.

All in all the colors of the Microsoft Windows logo show how a great company they have been and that these colors show their stand in the business world.
